Un-Marked for Life
Charterhouse Center for Families is pleased to announce the Un-Marked for Life Project (UML). Through a grant from the City of Stockton's Peacekeepers Program and United Way, UML will provide laser tattoo removal sessions of gang-related tattoos from individuals who have demonstrated a desire to change and become self-sufficient. Tattoos must be visible on the face, hands or neck. Referrals are being accepted through established collaborative partners. Prospective candidates for tattoo removal must meet the following criteria:
1. Must be referred from an established collaborative partner agency. Self-referrals will not be accepted.
2. Must successfully complete the referring agency's self-improvement program.
3. Must have completed a minimum of 40 hours of community service.
4. Must have successfully completed an educational improvement component.
