Staff Changes

Congratulations go out to May Lo for her promotion to Program Director.  May will oversee the Family Services department including all parenting and home visitation programs.

We would also like to welcome back Zulema Gomez as our new PCHP Program Supervisor.  Zulema brings her experience as a PAT parent educator and a case manager to the PCHP program.


Un-Marked for Life Gang-tattoo Removal Program

Charterhouse Center is pleased to announce the UnMarked for Life Project (UML).  Through a grant from the City of Stockton's Peacekeepers Program, UML will provide up to 300 laser removal sessions of gang-related tattoos from individuals ages 13 through 18 years of age.  Tattoos must be visible on the face, hands or neck.  Referrals are being accepted through established collaborative partners.  Prospective candidates for tattoo removal must meet the following criteria:

1.  Must be referred from an established collaborative partner agency.  Self-referrals will not be accepted.

2.  Must successfully complete the referring agency's self-improvement program.

3.  Must have completed a minimum of 40 hours of community service.

4.  Must have successfully completd an educational improvement component.

New Executive Director

Charterhouse Center and its employees and Board of Directors are pleased to announce the hiring of our Executive Director effective January 7, 2008.

Kerry Moquett accepted the Executive Director position and will succeed Scott Webb.

Kerry graduated from St.Mary’s High School in Stockton, from the University of Virginia with a Bachelors of Arts Degree, and from the University of California, Sacramento with a Master of Arts Degree.   She is also working on a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership and plans to complete that in a couple of years.

She has extensive successful teaching experience and is a very popular professor at both Humphrey’s College and Delta College.   She has worked for Washington Mutual for 9 years as Senior Project Manager and Vice President and most important of all has a passion to serve our community.
