Charterhouse Center for
Families seeks donations to provide additional
support for our programs.
History
Charterhouse Center for
Families began in 1986, in response to the
needs of Southeast Asian refugee women. At that
time, there were no services available
specifically for these women. Charterhouse
Center for Families began services by first
providing English-as-a-Second Language classes,
shortly thereafter expanding to include
outreach and advocacy services for all family
members. As needs changed over the years,
Charterhouse Center for Families has changed
its programs to meet those needs.
MISSION
The
mission of Charterhouse Center for Families is
to assist individuals and families in their
pursuit to self-sufficiency. Our programs are
designed to further the achievements of the
members of our community.
VISION
Our vision is to
provide personalized services for
individuals and families to grow in
self-sufficiency by collaborating with
effective partnerships throughout San
Joaquin County.
